Aubrey J. Parlet joined Beermann Pritikin Mirabelli Swerdlove, LLP as an associate attorney within the Family Law department after having initially clerked for the firm of Nadler, Pritikin & Mirabelli, LLC for nearly two years while attending law school, and subsequently joining Nadler, Pritikin & Mirabelli, LLC as an associate attorney in November, 2010.

Ms. Parlet received her Juris Doctorate and Certification in Child and Family Law from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law, in May of 2010, where she attended on a merit scholarship and was a member of the Dean's Honor Roll.  While in law school, Ms. Parlet authored an article entitled "Organic Foods Production: What Consumers Might Not Know About the Use of Synthetic Substances," which was selected for publication in Loyola University's Consumer Law Review.  Subsequent to publication, Ms. Parlet was elected to serve as the Articles Editor for Loyola University's Consumer Law Review from 2009-2010.  While in law school, Ms. Parlet further broadened her exposure to family law through her representation of children in domestic relations cases through Loyola University's Civitas Child Law Clinic, where she served as a court-appointed Children's Representative after being licensed pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711.  Ms. Parlet has also served as a guest judge for regional competitions sponsored by the American Mock Trial Association.

Ms. Parlet received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Creighton University, where she attended on a merit scholarship, was a member of the Dean's Honor Roll, graduated Magna Cum Laude, was a member of the Psi Chi national honor society for psychology, and the President of the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership society.  Ms. Parlet's practice lies exclusively in the area of family law.
