Associate
Graham B. Schmidt is active within both the commercial
litigation and the transactional practice group. In his
litigation practice, Mr. Schmidt represents individual clients
in contested guardianships and decedent's estates. For
Beermann Swerdlove LLP's main corporate clients, he litigates
breach of contract actions and the enforcement of UCC financing
statements in the courts of Northern Illinois. In his
transactional practice, Graham assists clients administer probate
estates, draft comprehensive estate plans, form corporations under
the Illinois Insurance Code, transfer commercial real estate and
draft asset purchase agreements. Graham holds a real
estate broker's license and also has substantial experience with
debt collection procedures in Cook County, Illinois.
Previous to Beermann Swerdlove LLP, Mr. Schmidt was an
associate for Drost and Schmidt, Ltd., a family firm specializing
in probate administration and residential real estate
transactions.
