Of Counsel

Justice Greiman served on the Illinois Appellate Court for the First District for 16 years, including 11 years as Chairman of the Court's Executive Committee.  As an Appellate Court Justice, he chaired the Special Supreme Court Committee on Child Custody Issues and also chaired the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Legislation.  Prior to joining the Appellate Court, Justice Greiman served as a Law Motion judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County and presided over numerous jury trials in the Law Division.

Before serving on the Bench, Justice Greiman served in the Illinois General Assembly for 14 years, serving as Assistant Majority Leader and Democratic Conference Chariman for much of that time.  Justice Greiman is married to another legislator, Illinois State Representative Julie Hamos.
