Associate
Mark L. Evans, an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation
and Appeals Department, has experience in both State and
Federal court with a broad range of business litigation
matters. Mr. Evans has assisted clients with contract
disputes, mechanic's lien claims, and fraud and breach of fiduciary
duty claims. Mr. Evans also represents employers and
employees in employment discrimination cases and employee
non-compete agreement disputes and counsels owners of family-owned
businesses through shareholder disputes and lockouts.
Additionally, Mr. Evans has assisted candidates for public office
in Illinois with ballot access, objections to nominating petitions,
and election challenges and recounts.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Evans served as Deputy
Finance Director for a statewide political campaign, helping to
elect Edward G. Rendell as Governor of Pennsylvania.
