Featured below is Family Law Partner, Shana Vitek, who is a member of the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation Auxiliary Board, and was co-chair of the board’s 2013 signature event, The Purple Affair for the Bear, held at the River East Art Center on January 26, 2013. The event featured a live band, silent auction and food donated by 8 of Chicago’s best restaurants. The event attracted over 450 guests and raised money to support pediatric cancer research as well as the foundation’s Bear Hugs program, a customized experience that brightens the life of a child being treated for cancer at one of nine major Chicago area hospitals.
