Aleksandra attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law, and Justice and a minor in English. After graduating, Aleksandra attended DePaul University College of Law where she was the recipient of two CALI Excellence Awards in Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy, which is the award designated for the highest academic achiever in a given law course.
Aleksandra began her professional career as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, initially representing the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services in child support enforcement matters. Later, Aleksandra transitioned to the Domestic Violence Division. Aleksandra litigated zealously for victims of domestic violence, obtaining orders of protection and the best legal outcome for each unique situation faced by the parties involved. Aleksandra’s many years of litigation and courtroom experience combined with compassion and understanding for all walks of life make her the right choice for today’s ever changing legal climate.
