About Charles M. Wright

Charles M. Wright’s practice is predominately focused on complex family and matrimonial law matters. While Mr. Wright’s practice centers primarily around high-conflict business litigation in the context of divorce, he advises clients on all aspects of dissolution of marriage and paternity proceedings, such as, pre- and postnuptial agreements, division of property, maintenance, allocation of parenting time, child support, complex financial and business issues, and other post-decree issues.

“Chuck” takes a personalized hands-on approach with each and every one of his clients to ensure the most desirable outcome in their cases. Mr. Wright believes that modern families require modern solutions, and that no detail is too small, nor should any stone be left unturned, to efficaciously ascertain your prospective goals.

Mr. Wright is a zealous advocate drawing from a unique breadth of professional experience who works tirelessly to provide his clients with the foundation they need to write the next chapter in their lives. A double Illini, “Chuck” earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and his Juris Doctorate, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his time at the University of Illinois College of Law, Mr. Wright earned the highest academic achievement in both his Family Law Practice and Trade Secret courses. Mr. Wright also served as a Student Attorney with the Illinois Veteran’s Clinic where he successfully litigated family law and appellate civil litigation cases. Following clerkships with a civil litigation firm and a government procurement consulting firm, Mr. Wright joined Beermann LLP as a law clerk before rising as an associate attorney.

From the classroom to the courtroom, Mr. Wright is an AmeriCorps alumnus, who served as a 6th grade English Language Arts teacher with Teach For America in rural Helena-West Helena, Arkansas.
