About Fabiola E. Villalpando
Fabiola Villalpando focuses her practice on all areas of family law, including divorce, allocation of parenting time and parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, and domestic violence proceedings. Ms. Villalpando’s interdisciplinary background in law and social work allows her to apply a holistic and compassionate approach when advocating for her clients.
Ms. Villalpando began her career in family law as a law clerk for a prominent family law firm in Chicago beginning her first year of law school. While in law school, Ms. Villalpando worked as a Supreme Court Rule 711 student attorney with Loyola’s Civitas ChildLaw Clinic, where she represented children in high-dispute domestic relations and juvenile court proceedings.
Ms. Villalpando was selected to be a member of Loyola’s Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Team, and went on to earn a third place award at the national competition. Ms. Villalpando also served as a Junior Editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal, and participated in Loyola’s Immigration Detention Project, where she assisted detained migrants with their asylum applications. In addition to her extracurricular achievements, Ms. Villalpando earned a certificate in Child and Family Law and was awarded the CALI Excellence Award for obtaining the highest grade in her Advocacy course. Ms. Villalpando is fluent in Spanish.
