Stephanie G. Sadow represents clients in all aspects of family law including divorce, parenting disputes, separation of assets, child support, parentage matters, and orders of protection. Stephanie has the emotional and financial well-being of her clients at the forefront of her representation. She prides herself in being highly communicative and empathetic. After a break from practicing family law while her kids were young, during which time she volunteered as an advocate for kids in the dependency system, she rejoins the firm as “of counsel”.

Stephanie strives to bring a sense of calm to her clients during what can be one of the most difficult transitions in their lives. She patiently explains the law and choices to her clients every step of the way and helps them thoroughly understand their options before making choices.

When children are involved, Stephanie strongly believes the tone of the divorce process can affect the tone of parenting relationships going forward. It is her goal to represent clients with the long-term emotional health of their families in mind, and therefore will seek an amicable resolution when possible, but does not hesitate to litigate in court when necessary.

Outside of her legal practice, Stephanie volunteers as a court appointed advocate for children in the dependency system and is passionate about empowering and advocating for children who are victims of abuse and neglect. Having been a child’s advocate for many years, she offers perspectives into the experience of children undergoing shifts in their family’s structure. When relevant, she helps clients stay mindful of how each decision effects their children so they can make decisions that are best for both themselves and their children.
