About Taylor A. Cohn
Taylor’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law, including advising clients on a wide range of issues which include property division, maintenance, child support, parenting time, allocation of parental responsibilities, and domestic violence.
Known for her compassion and attentive listening, Taylor understands the importance of customizing her strategies to meet the unique needs of each family. She works diligently to achieve outcomes that protect her clients’ interests and provide a solid foundation for their future.
Taylor received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she made the Dean’s List and graduated with honors. While in law school, Taylor externed for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal aid to underserved communities in the Chicago area. At CVLS, Taylor worked within the Family Law program, utilizing her 711 license to represent individuals in divorce and parentage matters.
Prior to her admission to the Illinois Bar, Taylor further expanded her legal knowledge and practical skills through a law clerk position at Beermann LLP, where she now continues her legal career as an associate attorney.
